# iShala vs slowscribe

The clearest difference is price: slowscribe at Free against iShala's $12.99. slowscribe also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). iShala's advantage is ratings volume (162 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

slowscribe is free to download; iShala costs $12.99 up front. iShala sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and slowscribe sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
