# nRange Golf GPS vs Golf GPS++

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Golf GPS++ at 4.7K against nRange Golf GPS's 19. Golf GPS++ also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3). nRange Golf GPS's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and review sentiment (62% vs 44%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. nRange Golf GPS sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Golf GPS++ sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Golf GPS++ holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Golf GPS++ has 4.7K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of nRange Golf GPS's written reviews are positive against 44% of Golf GPS++'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

nRange Golf GPS ships an update weekly, Golf GPS++ monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
