# nRange Golf GPS vs Golf GPS

The clearest difference is update cadence: nRange Golf GPS at weekly against Golf GPS's every 2 months. nRange Golf GPS also leads on rating (4.3 vs 4.0). Golf GPS's advantage is review sentiment (74% vs 62%) and iOS requirement (8.1 vs 15.6). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. nRange Golf GPS sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Golf GPS sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

nRange Golf GPS holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 19 and 24 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of nRange Golf GPS's written reviews are positive against 74% of Golf GPS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

nRange Golf GPS ships an update weekly, Golf GPS every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
