# Bleep! vs The Ultimate Buzzer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Bleep! at 67% against The Ultimate Buzzer's 32%. Bleep! also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and iOS requirement (9.3 vs 17.0). The Ultimate Buzzer's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and rating (4.4 vs 4.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Ultimate Buzzer sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Bleep! asks for nothing beyond the download.

The Ultimate Buzzer holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Ultimate Buzzer has 15K ratings behind it against 481, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Bleep!'s written reviews are positive against 32% of The Ultimate Buzzer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bleep! ships an update every 4 months, The Ultimate Buzzer fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
