# iCoptic Library vs MyPCPL

The clearest difference is review sentiment: iCoptic Library at 71% against MyPCPL's 25%. iCoptic Library also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (5.1.1 vs 16.0). MyPCPL's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (21 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyPCPL holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyPCPL has 21 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of iCoptic Library's written reviews are positive against 25% of MyPCPL's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iCoptic Library ships an update fortnightly, MyPCPL every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
