# Blackjack vs Blackjack 21

The clearest difference is ads: Blackjack 21 at none against Blackjack's shown. Blackjack 21 also leads on chart position (#159 vs unranked). Blackjack's advantage is review sentiment (77% vs 55%) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blackjack sells 13 one-off in-app purchases and Blackjack 21 sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Blackjack against 4.7 for Blackjack 21. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blackjack has 37K ratings behind it against 5.7K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 77% of Blackjack's written reviews are positive against 55% of Blackjack 21's.

Blackjack ships an update weekly, Blackjack 21 fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
