# Vertigo Rogue Lite vs FishPond

The clearest difference is monetization model: Vertigo Rogue Lite at free against FishPond's free with in-app purchases. Vertigo Rogue Lite also leads on ratings volume (516 vs 17) and iOS requirement (3.1.2 vs 18.0). FishPond's advantage is rating (3.5 vs 3.3) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FishPond holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vertigo Rogue Lite has 516 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Vertigo Rogue Lite's written reviews are positive against 70% of FishPond's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Vertigo Rogue Lite ships an update monthly, FishPond fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
