# MGM Rewards vs rideRTC

The clearest difference is rating: MGM Rewards at 4.8 against rideRTC's 2.5. MGM Rewards also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (264K vs 230). rideRTC's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MGM Rewards holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MGM Rewards has 264K ratings behind it against 230, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 20% of MGM Rewards's written reviews are positive against 14% of rideRTC's.

MGM Rewards ships an update every 2 weeks, rideRTC every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
