# PrankDial vs CB TALK

The clearest difference is rating: PrankDial at 4.7 against CB TALK's 2.5. PrankDial also leads on ratings volume (88K vs 169). CB TALK's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 12) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PrankDial sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. CB TALK asks for nothing beyond the download.

PrankDial holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PrankDial has 88K ratings behind it against 169, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 30% and 30% positive.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
