# Change Calculator vs Necrometer

The clearest difference is price: Change Calculator at Free against Necrometer's $9.99. Change Calculator also leads on review sentiment (43% vs 31%). Necrometer's advantage is rating (2.7 vs 2.2) and update cadence (every 9 months vs every 32 months). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Change Calculator is free to download; Necrometer costs $9.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Necrometer holds the better App Store score, 2.7 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Necrometer has 271 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Change Calculator's written reviews are positive against 31% of Necrometer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Change Calculator ships an update every 32 months, Necrometer every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
