# Mac4Ever HD vs iAddict v6

The clearest difference is rating: Mac4Ever HD at 4.4 against iAddict v6's 3.5. Mac4Ever HD also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (16 vs 2). iAddict v6's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iAddict v6 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Mac4Ever HD asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mac4Ever HD holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mac4Ever HD has 16 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Mac4Ever HD's written reviews are positive against 60% of iAddict v6's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mac4Ever HD ships an update every 3 months, iAddict v6 weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
