# Quick Chart XL vs Flipbook Viewer

The clearest difference is price: Flipbook Viewer at Free against Quick Chart XL's $1.99. Flipbook Viewer also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 30 months) and rating (1.4 vs 1.0). On review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Flipbook Viewer is free to download; Quick Chart XL costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Flipbook Viewer holds the better App Store score, 1.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flipbook Viewer has 106 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 9% of Quick Chart XL's written reviews are positive against 4% of Flipbook Viewer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Quick Chart XL ships an update every 30 months, Flipbook Viewer weekly. The most recent releases landed on June 5, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
