# Uber vs PocketCab Passenger

The clearest difference is monetization model: PocketCab Passenger at free against Uber's free with in-app purchases. PocketCab Passenger also leads on iOS requirement (7.0 vs 18.0). Uber's advantage is ratings volume (17M vs 1) and chart position (#1 vs unranked). On price, rating and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Uber against 5.0 for PocketCab Passenger. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Uber has 17M ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
