# Uber vs فوم

The clearest difference is ads: Uber at none against فوم's shown. Uber also leads on ratings volume (17M vs 143) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). فوم's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Uber holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Uber has 17M ratings behind it against 143, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Uber ships an update weekly, فوم every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and August 14, 2026 respectively.
