# Wrong Button! vs The Ultimate Buzzer

The clearest difference is rating: The Ultimate Buzzer at 4.4 against Wrong Button!'s 3.9. The Ultimate Buzzer also leads on ratings volume (15K vs 28) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). Wrong Button!'s advantage is review sentiment (55% vs 32%) and iOS requirement (9.3 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The Ultimate Buzzer holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Ultimate Buzzer has 15K ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Wrong Button!'s written reviews are positive against 32% of The Ultimate Buzzer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wrong Button! ships an update every 4 months, The Ultimate Buzzer every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
