# WEB.DE vs Helios

The clearest difference is price: WEB.DE at Free against Helios's $4.99. WEB.DE also leads on ratings volume (1.8K vs 1) and review sentiment (73% vs 61%). Helios's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). On update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

WEB.DE is free to download; Helios costs $4.99 up front. WEB.DE sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Helios asks for nothing beyond the download.

Helios holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WEB.DE has 1.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of WEB.DE's written reviews are positive against 61% of Helios's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WEB.DE ships an update fortnightly, Helios every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
