# Talk Time vs VoyTimer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Talk Time at 100% against VoyTimer's 57%. Talk Time also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). VoyTimer's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.7) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 100 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VoyTimer sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Talk Time asks for nothing beyond the download.

VoyTimer holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VoyTimer has 148 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Talk Time's written reviews are positive against 57% of VoyTimer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Talk Time ships an update every 100 months, VoyTimer every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
