# TIME Magazine vs AAFP Audio

The clearest difference is rating: TIME Magazine at 4.5 against AAFP Audio's 3.8. TIME Magazine also leads on ratings volume (2.6K vs 5) and chart position (#172 vs unranked). AAFP Audio's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and review sentiment (67% vs 38%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TIME Magazine sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. AAFP Audio asks for nothing beyond the download.

TIME Magazine holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TIME Magazine has 2.6K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of TIME Magazine's written reviews are positive against 67% of AAFP Audio's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TIME Magazine ships an update every 3 months, AAFP Audio every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
