# Dartfish EasyTag vs ALBION Connect

The clearest difference is price: ALBION Connect at Free against Dartfish EasyTag's $4.99. ALBION Connect also leads on rating (4.8 vs 3.3) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 11 months). Dartfish EasyTag's advantage is review sentiment (73% vs 64%) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.6). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

ALBION Connect is free to download; Dartfish EasyTag costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ALBION Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ALBION Connect has 5.9K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Dartfish EasyTag's written reviews are positive against 64% of ALBION Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dartfish EasyTag ships an update every 11 months, ALBION Connect every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
