# Knuddels vs Papi

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Papi at none against Knuddels's 30. Papi also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). Knuddels's advantage is ratings volume (349 vs 1) and review sentiment (70% vs 50%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Knuddels sells 28 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Papi asks for nothing beyond the download.

Papi holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Knuddels has 349 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Knuddels's written reviews are positive against 50% of Papi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Knuddels ships an update fortnightly, Papi weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
