# TeamChooser vs LiveBarn

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TeamChooser at 75% against LiveBarn's 15%. TeamChooser also leads on monetization model (free vs subscription). LiveBarn's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (569 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LiveBarn holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LiveBarn has 569 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of TeamChooser's written reviews are positive against 15% of LiveBarn's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TeamChooser ships an update every 12 months, LiveBarn monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
