# Remoter VNC vs TeamViewer Remote Control

The clearest difference is price: TeamViewer Remote Control at Free against Remoter VNC's $0.99. TeamViewer Remote Control also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (45K vs 888). Remoter VNC's advantage is review sentiment (63% vs 46%) and chart position (#46 vs unranked). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

TeamViewer Remote Control holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TeamViewer Remote Control has 45K ratings behind it against 888, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Remoter VNC's written reviews are positive against 46% of TeamViewer Remote Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
