# Rocats vs I am Ball

The clearest difference is rating: Rocats at 4.2 against I am Ball's 3.7. Rocats also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1). I am Ball's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 7 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. I am Ball sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Rocats asks for nothing beyond the download.

Rocats holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: I am Ball has 59 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Rocats's written reviews are positive against 90% of I am Ball's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rocats ships an update every 7 months, I am Ball every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
