# QQ浏览器 vs Opera Browser with VPN

The clearest difference is rating: Opera Browser with VPN at 4.7 against QQ浏览器's 4.2. Opera Browser with VPN also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 13) and ratings volume (264K vs 1.1K). QQ浏览器's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QQ浏览器 sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $36.99 per year. Opera Browser with VPN asks for nothing beyond the download.

Opera Browser with VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Opera Browser with VPN has 264K ratings behind it against 1.1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of QQ浏览器's written reviews are positive against 59% of Opera Browser with VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

QQ浏览器 ships an update every 4 days, Opera Browser with VPN fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
