# iPreFlight Genesis vs JetBook

The clearest difference is rating: JetBook at 5.0 against iPreFlight Genesis's 2.6. JetBook also leads on review sentiment (57% vs 29%) and device support (3 vs 1). iPreFlight Genesis's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iPreFlight Genesis sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per year and JetBook sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

JetBook holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iPreFlight Genesis has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 29% of iPreFlight Genesis's written reviews are positive against 57% of JetBook's.

iPreFlight Genesis ships an update every 3 weeks, JetBook every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
