# Posten vs Verisure

The clearest difference is rating: Posten at 4.7 against Verisure's 4.0. Posten also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (148 vs 20). Verisure's advantage is review sentiment (31% vs 15%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Posten holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Posten has 148 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Posten's written reviews are positive against 31% of Verisure's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Posten ships an update every 6 days, Verisure every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
