# TitanTV vs Greatwave TV

The clearest difference is rating: Greatwave TV at 5.0 against TitanTV's 2.8. Greatwave TV also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). TitanTV's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 34 months) and ratings volume (143 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Greatwave TV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TitanTV has 143 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TitanTV ships an update every 6 weeks, Greatwave TV every 34 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
