# iKout vs Jackaroo Star

The clearest difference is update cadence: Jackaroo Star at every 4 days against iKout's monthly. iKout's advantage is review sentiment (59% vs 36%) and ratings volume (23K vs 1.8K). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iKout sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Jackaroo Star sells 31 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for iKout against 4.6 for Jackaroo Star. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iKout has 23K ratings behind it against 1.8K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 59% of iKout's written reviews are positive against 36% of Jackaroo Star's.

iKout ships an update monthly, Jackaroo Star every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
