# SYNKD Metronome & Sequencer vs Poly Metronome

The clearest difference is price: Poly Metronome at Free against SYNKD Metronome & Sequencer's $9.99. Poly Metronome also leads on rating (4.3 vs 3.5) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 12 months). SYNKD Metronome & Sequencer's advantage is review sentiment (45% vs 23%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Poly Metronome is free to download; SYNKD Metronome & Sequencer costs $9.99 up front. SYNKD Metronome & Sequencer sells 16 one-off in-app purchases and Poly Metronome sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Poly Metronome holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Poly Metronome has 204 ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of SYNKD Metronome & Sequencer's written reviews are positive against 23% of Poly Metronome's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SYNKD Metronome & Sequencer ships an update every 12 months, Poly Metronome every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
