# SBSNEWS vs MBC 뉴스

The clearest difference is rating: SBSNEWS at 4.3 against MBC 뉴스's 2.2. SBSNEWS also leads on ratings volume (34 vs 9). MBC 뉴스's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (45% vs 35%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SBSNEWS holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 34 and 9 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of SBSNEWS's written reviews are positive against 45% of MBC 뉴스's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
