# Hersheypark vs Sesame Place

Hersheypark and Sesame Place both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of Hersheypark's written reviews are positive against 32% of Sesame Place's. Hersheypark also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (41K vs 7.7K). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Hersheypark against 4.9 for Sesame Place. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hersheypark has 41K ratings behind it against 7.7K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of Hersheypark's written reviews are positive against 32% of Sesame Place's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
