# Hersheypark vs Pit Stop

The clearest difference is price: Hersheypark at Free against Pit Stop's $2.99. Hersheypark also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (40K vs 13). Pit Stop's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 weeks) and chart position (#16 vs #141). On ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Hersheypark is free to download; Pit Stop costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hersheypark holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hersheypark has 40K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Hersheypark's written reviews are positive against 75% of Pit Stop's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hersheypark ships an update every 6 weeks, Pit Stop every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
