# Stand to Reason vs Outra

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Stand to Reason at 59 against Outra's 2. Outra's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Outra holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stand to Reason has 59 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 87% of Stand to Reason's written reviews are positive against 100% of Outra's.

Stand to Reason ships an update every 4 months, Outra every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
