# LOSC vs RC Strasbourg Alsace

The clearest difference is rating: RC Strasbourg Alsace at 5.0 against LOSC's 4.2. LOSC's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 47%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RC Strasbourg Alsace holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LOSC has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of LOSC's written reviews are positive against 47% of RC Strasbourg Alsace's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LOSC ships an update every 3 weeks, RC Strasbourg Alsace every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
