# 随手记 vs Mumo

The clearest difference is ads: Mumo at none against 随手记's shown. Mumo also leads on review sentiment (95% vs 81%). 随手记's advantage is ratings volume (4.2K vs 247). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 随手记 sells 36 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Mumo sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for 随手记 against 4.9 for Mumo. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 随手记 has 4.2K ratings behind it against 247, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 81% of 随手记's written reviews are positive against 95% of Mumo's.

随手记 ships an update fortnightly, Mumo every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
