# 随手记 vs 倒爷

The clearest difference is ads: 倒爷 at none against 随手记's shown. 倒爷 also leads on review sentiment (91% vs 81%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). 随手记's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (4.2K vs 8). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 随手记 sells 36 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and 倒爷 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

随手记 holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 随手记 has 4.2K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of 随手记's written reviews are positive against 91% of 倒爷's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

随手记 ships an update fortnightly, 倒爷 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
