# Pipe Tools vs ValvEye App

The clearest difference is update cadence: ValvEye App at every 2 weeks against Pipe Tools's every 36 months. ValvEye App also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Pipe Tools ships an update every 36 months, ValvEye App every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
