# Il Foglio vs Tracce

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Il Foglio at 94% against Tracce's 50%. Il Foglio also leads on rating (4.5 vs 1.0) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Tracce's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Il Foglio sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Tracce sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $27.49 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
