# nib vs KX Pilates

The clearest difference is ads: KX Pilates at none against nib's shown. KX Pilates also leads on review sentiment (78% vs 51%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). nib's advantage is ratings volume (113 vs 10) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for nib against 4.9 for KX Pilates. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: nib has 113 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 51% of nib's written reviews are positive against 78% of KX Pilates's.

nib ships an update fortnightly, KX Pilates every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
