# Piano Notes Pro vs Music Intervals Trainer

Piano Notes Pro and Music Intervals Trainer both sit at 3.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 86% of Piano Notes Pro's written reviews are positive against 13% of Music Intervals Trainer's. Piano Notes Pro also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (16 vs 2). Music Intervals Trainer's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, rating and ads there is nothing between them.

Piano Notes Pro costs $2.99 and Music Intervals Trainer $2.99 up front. Piano Notes Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Music Intervals Trainer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Music Intervals Trainer holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Piano Notes Pro has 16 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Piano Notes Pro's written reviews are positive against 13% of Music Intervals Trainer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Piano Notes Pro ships an update every 2 months, Music Intervals Trainer every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
