# LivePhish vs Tulagi

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Tulagi at none against LivePhish's 4. Tulagi also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). LivePhish's advantage is ratings volume (42K vs 2) and chart position (#44 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LivePhish sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Tulagi asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for LivePhish against 5.0 for Tulagi. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LivePhish has 42K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LivePhish ships an update every 2 months, Tulagi weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
