# Taskrabbit vs XB

The clearest difference is ads: XB at none against Taskrabbit's shown. XB also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Taskrabbit's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (46K vs 5). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

XB holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Taskrabbit has 46K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Taskrabbit ships an update fortnightly, XB every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
