# Taskrabbit vs Project Pulse

The clearest difference is ads: Project Pulse at none against Taskrabbit's shown. Project Pulse also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). Taskrabbit's advantage is ratings volume (46K vs 1) and chart position (#60 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Project Pulse holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Taskrabbit has 46K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Taskrabbit ships an update fortnightly, Project Pulse every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
