# Jigsaw Box Puzzles vs Fun Time Timer

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Fun Time Timer at none against Jigsaw Box Puzzles's 10. Fun Time Timer also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.3) and device support (3 vs 1). Jigsaw Box Puzzles's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (267 vs 8). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jigsaw Box Puzzles sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Fun Time Timer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fun Time Timer holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jigsaw Box Puzzles has 267 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Jigsaw Box Puzzles's written reviews are positive against 79% of Fun Time Timer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
