# Mil vs Element Ballistics

The clearest difference is price: Element Ballistics at Free against Mil's $0.99. Element Ballistics also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months) and rating (3.6 vs 3.4). Mil's advantage is review sentiment (69% vs 25%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On ratings volume, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Element Ballistics is free to download; Mil costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Element Ballistics holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 57 and 32 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Mil's written reviews are positive against 25% of Element Ballistics's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
