# Journal des Femmes vs Sélection

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Journal des Femmes at 87% against Sélection's 33%. Journal des Femmes also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and device support (3 vs 1). Sélection's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 3.0) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sélection sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Journal des Femmes asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sélection holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Journal des Femmes's written reviews are positive against 33% of Sélection's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Journal des Femmes ships an update every 6 months, Sélection every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
