# Procore vs FabStation

The clearest difference is rating: Procore at 4.6 against FabStation's 2.7. Procore also leads on ratings volume (46K vs 3) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). FabStation's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Procore holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Procore has 46K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Procore ships an update weekly, FabStation every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
