# Procore vs GDSNY

The clearest difference is rating: GDSNY at 5.0 against Procore's 4.6. GDSNY also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.1). Procore's advantage is ratings volume (46K vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GDSNY holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Procore has 46K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Procore ships an update weekly, GDSNY every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
