# Panorama vs il Giornale Digitale

The clearest difference is review sentiment: il Giornale Digitale at 87% against Panorama's 0%. il Giornale Digitale also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months). Panorama's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (4.9 vs 4.4). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Panorama sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month and il Giornale Digitale sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Panorama holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 10 and 9 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Panorama's written reviews are positive against 87% of il Giornale Digitale's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Panorama ships an update every 7 months, il Giornale Digitale every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
