# SimSimi vs E.

The clearest difference is review sentiment: E. at 100% against SimSimi's 44%. E. also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). SimSimi's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 2.1) and ratings volume (7.5K vs 7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SimSimi sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and E. sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SimSimi holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SimSimi has 7.5K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of SimSimi's written reviews are positive against 100% of E.'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SimSimi ships an update every 2 weeks, E. every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
